SPS Pro Services started in 2017 when Sergei Petrov got tired of watching homeowners get vague answers and rushed jobs from bigger outfits. He set up shop in Seattle with a simple plan: show up on time, explain what's actually wrong, and fix it right the first time. Since then the crew has grown to include an electrician, a heat pump specialist, and a comfort advisor who handles scheduling and questions, but the way we work hasn't changed. We're still small enough that you'll talk to the same people each time you call, and we still turn down jobs we don't think make sense for your house. Most of our work comes from repeat customers and referrals in King and Snohomish counties, from older Ballard bungalows to newer builds in Bothell and Lynnwood.
About SPS Pro Services
What we hold ourselves to
Straight talk before any work starts
We tell you what's wrong, what it costs, and what your options are before we touch anything. If a repair doesn't make sense compared to replacement, we'll say so.
Work built for Pacific Northwest houses
Seattle-area homes range from 1920s bungalows with knob-and-tube wiring to newer builds on heat pumps. We size and install equipment for the house you actually have, not a generic setup.
Small crew, direct accountability
You're not routed through a call center. The technician who diagnoses your system is often the one who fixes it, and Alina can answer scheduling and billing questions directly.
Who shows up at your door
Licensed techs, not subcontractors — the same people who write the guides on our blog.

Questions homeowners ask about us
What areas does SPS Pro Services cover
We serve homeowners throughout King and Snohomish counties, including Seattle, Bothell, Lynnwood, Shoreline, and surrounding communities, whether you're on PSE or Snohomish County PUD power.
Who will actually show up at my house
Depending on the job, you'll see Sergei or Danil for HVAC and heat pump work, or Marcus for electrical work. Alina handles scheduling and can walk you through pricing ranges before anyone arrives.
Are your technicians licensed and certified
Yes. Sergei holds EPA Section 608 Universal and NATE Core certification, Marcus is a Washington 01 Journey Level Electrician, and Danil holds EPA Section 608 Type II with Mitsubishi Diamond training for heat pumps and mini-splits.
Do you work on older homes with outdated systems
Regularly. A lot of housing stock in Seattle and Snohomish County predates modern HVAC and electrical codes, so we're used to working around older ductwork, panels, and wiring while bringing things up to current standards.
